ঢাকা প্রিমিয়ার লিগে (ডিপিএল) নিজেদের প্রথম ম্যাচে জয় পেয়েছে আশরাফুল ও মাশরাফির শেখ জামাল ধানমন্ডি ক্লাব। টুর্নামেন্টের দ্বিতীয় দিনে তারা খেলাঘর সমাজকল্যাণ সমিতিকে ৫৫ রানে হারিয়েছে তারা।
ম্যাচে আগে ব্যাট করে ৫০ ওভারে ৯ উইকেটে ২৭৬ রান করে শেখ জামাল। উদ্বোধনী জুটিতে সৈকত আলীকে নিয়ে ব্যাটিংয়ে আসেন আশরাফুল। ৬ ওভারে তারা গড়ে তোলেন ২৫ রানের জুটি। আশরাফুল মাত্র ৩ রান করে আউট হন। দ্বিতীয় উইকেট জুটিতে ৮৬ রান যোগ করেন সোহরাওয়ার্দী শুভ ও সৈকত আলী। ৮৩ রানের ম্যাচসেরা ইনিংস খেলে আউট হন সৈকত আলী।

নাসির হোসেন ও অধিনায়ক নুরুল হাসান সোহানও পান হাফসেঞ্চুরির দেখা। নাসির ৫৬ ও নুরুল করেন ৫৮ রান। এছাড়া শেষদিকে ২১ বলে ২৪ রান করেন জিয়াউর রহমান। তিন হাফসেঞ্চুরি ও জিয়াউরের ছোট্ট ঝড়ে ২৭৬ রানের বড় সংগ্রহ পায় শেখ জামাল।
জবাবে ব্যাট করতে নেমে ৫০ রানের মধ্যেই দুই উইকেট হারায় খেলাঘর। জহুরুল ইসলাম ছাড়া দলের বাকি ব্যাটসম্যানরাও এদিন বড় ইনিংস খেলতে ব্যর্থ হন। সর্বোচ্চ ৫১ রান করেন জহুরুল। এছাড়া মাসুম খান করেন ৩২ রান। ৫০ ওভারে ৯ উইকেটে ২২১ রান তুলেই থামে খেলাঘর। ফলে ৫৫ রানের বড় জয় পায় শেখ জামাল।
৭ ওভারে ৩৪ রান দিয়ে উইকেটশূন্য থাকেন মাশরাফি। সোহরাওয়ার্দী শুভ, ইলিয়াস সানি ও সালাউদ্দীন শাকিল নেন দুটি করে উইকেট।

Mashrafe left the wicket with 5 runs in 5 overs. Suhrawardy Shubha, Elias Sunny and Salauddin Shakil took two wickets each.
